What’s on your Grocery List this Week?

If you are wondering how does a pant-based shopping cart look, for someone trying to lose a few pounds over the week or for the course of the month, here’s is just one example of many. What you see here is me just finishing grocery shopping for this week (M-F)🍌🍎🥑🥥🥒🥬

Many of you may say something like, THAT’S IT!?!? 🧐🤨 & my response is, YES❗️This is what works for me, for this particular health/fitness goal! Also, I like to go by the philosophy of “Eat until you’re CONTENT, and not until you’re FULL. After all, I oftentimes urge people who are are looking to lose weight to pay more attention to our stomachs while eating. Oftentimes, we end up ignoring the signals that our stomachs give off when we have had enough food, and end up eating more than we actually need.

By listening to our stomachs, or eating intelligently, you will allow your stomach to quickly digest what you eat, maximize the amount of #nutrients that your body can quickly absorb in a short time frame. Besides, for me, I like to be light on my feet and stomach, especially when I workout during the early evening.

If you are wondering- Yes, this is definitely a challenge for me, and no. I didn’t always used to eat this way. In fact, I used to eat terribly, and suck at grocery shopping! Read more about that story here.

Now, my weekends, on the other hand, are a different story. On the weekends, I like to treat/reward myself for the discipline that I’ve demonstrated over the week, in effort to meet my health and fitness goals.
