“Where do you get your protein?”
The infamous question we ask others (or have been asked) when you mention that you don’t eat meat. Did you know that protein does not solely come from animal products? Or that protein, when broken down by the body, is made up of amino acids, which are the building blocks for protein, and has a high presence in plants? In fact, amino acids found in plants are what the biggest and strongest animals use to build their bodies. Moreover, there are plant-based Whole Foods out there which offer more protein than many of the animal products, and we’ve designed this meal plan with that in mind. Not to mention, for optimum health, the average woman needs 46 g of protein per day, and 56 g of protein per day for the average man.
This meal plan is vegan and full of healthy protein sources to fuel you up each day!
